Senior Business Analyst – Data & Insigths
At FEC Tech, we create and maintain future-proof, compliant Business Intelligence solutions and dashboards specifically for the Wholesale & Rural (W&R) domain. Our goal is to provide clear, cohesive insights that support the business in making informed decisions and contribute to the prevention of Financial Economic Crime.

You and your job
As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll join a team that’s actively growing in its Agile way of working and navigating a demanding, fast-changing environment. With increasing regulatory pressure, innovation, and compliance requirements, we’re looking for someone who brings experience, structure, and a clear sense of direction.

You’ll help shape the way the team works not only by translating business needs into effective data solutions, but also by providing guidance to colleagues, taking ownership of key initiatives, and helping to strengthen the team’s way of working. Your ability to manage stakeholders, anticipate needs, and connect the dots will be essential in delivering valuable, future-proof solutions together with the team.

• Translate complex business needs into clear actionable technical requirements for BI developers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Provide a strategic, end-to-end perspective on data products, ensuring the development of scalable, high-impact, and future-proof data solutions.

Top responsibilities
• Understand the business need behind the initial question, work with the team to find the right solution, define clear requirements, and align with stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve the squad’s data products, making sure they’re future-proof and meet compliance standards.
• Use your experience to support the team — especially in managing stakeholders and shaping solid, well-defined requirements.

The ~160 people in Area Data and Insights are positioned to make the bank increasingly data-driven through the delivering of solid insights as well as implementing future proof data solutions for FEC. You and your talent
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a complex, fast-paced environment
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum ways of working
• Skilled in BI tools (especially Power BI) and basic knowledge in SQL
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and digital collaboration skills
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
• Positive energy and a can-do mentality
• Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs and to work under pressure
• Knowledge of Financial Economic Crime (FEC) and Wholesale & Rural banking is a plus
