Action is growing extremely fast internationally, which means the number of employees is growing steadily along with it. Today, more than 80,000 employees use our HR applications, such as our time registration tool Kronos, which is why we set up these systems as optimally and stably as possible. As Functional Application Manager Kronos, you know how to continuously facilitate our business and suppliers in the right way in a constantly changing environment.


This is your daily action


As Functional Application Manager Kronos, you will join the Business Technology (BizTech) team focusing on HR. You realise the initiatives on the technology roadmap, and, with the teams, you support our Technology business objectives and work on solving second line incidents.
The people who work for us make the difference. Stabilisation and optimisation of our HR processes is therefore extremely important, and as an application manager you will be contributing to this. You know everything about Kronos (WFC), Your focus will be on application management, and you will ensure, together with our suppliers, that we translate business requirements into requirements, together with the implementation of change requests by the business, for example from the HR department or via Store Operations. Together with the business, you will set priorities, specify test requirements and ensure workarounds or implementations in standard software are possible. To this end, you will work closely with the service delivery manager.
Major projects we have recently completed in the team include the implementation of the new country Slovakia, new contract types in France to properly pay overtime and the introduction of new collective labour agreement rules. How do you make a difference in this role? You do that by constantly being ahead of the game and setting things up more efficiently.

With some 90 colleagues at the international headquarters, Technology works pragmatically, in a fast, solution-oriented way on various IT solutions in order to support Action’s growth in all countries in a good and standardised way.
Your team will consist of 5 direct colleagues. With one manager, one coordinator and 3 application analyst.

You are pragmatic and results-oriented. You feel at home in a dynamic organisation in which you switch seamlessly between your different activities. You will communicate at a business level with application specialists, business process owners and suppliers, among others. In doing so, you will also ensure punctual documentation so that every stakeholder is perfectly informed about the status of the work you are doing.

You also have the following:
Experience with Kronos WFC
Experience in a similar role as an analyst
Excellent command of English
