Client Reporting is a customer facing application and available for clients via the Rabobank Business Banking portal. The application provides customers insight to their Treasury portfolio and ensures regulatory compliance. As a business analyst you play a central role in the development and support of Client Reporting. Together with your colleagues in a squad, which consists of IT and business expertise, you ensure continuity and continuous improvement of the Client Reporting service in an agile way of working.

Making a difference

Client Reporting is a global product application and enables clients and Sales worldwide to do business in an easy, efficient and user-friendly way. Enabling them to manage the lifecycle of the executed transactions whilst providing them insight to trade details and valuation information. The services includes processes to ensure regulatory compliance of Rabobank and our clients via a user friendly, visually appealing and stable end-user application (correct data and 24/7 availability).

As a business analyst you help define the product and boost innovation and improvement of the product. This leads to a product that provides in a well-founded need of the customers in which the products are always functionally transparent, meaning that the consequences of the products are acceptable and explainable in all scenarios. You will also be involved in monitoring, solving problems and dealing with business and customer requests. In short: customer interests, being in control and quality are at the core of the activities.

Main challenges in the role are to satisfy all customer needs whilst not over complicating the application and the ever-changing regulatory environment, posing new standard and requirements.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. The Client Reporting squad is part of the Tribe Markets & Treasury and Area Reporting & Value Chain Services within the new CPO domain. Purpose of this area is to provide best in class and efficient technology to underpin all product agnostic operational controls and reporting services, driving global standardisation.

The squad Client Reporting acts in close collaboration with other squads within the Tribes Markets & Treasury and the Digital Platform. You also align with business, architecture and IT stakeholders in your daily work.

With your talent

The ideal candidate possess strong analytical skills, has experience in electronic distribution of products, has knowledge of the products traded by Markets & Treasury and is an excellent coordinator and communicator in a complex international environment.

In addition, it's important that you recognise the things in the checklist below:

‒ Experience with Scrum/Agile way of working

‒ Flexible, hands-on and pro-active

‒ Being able to switch between all stakeholders and facets, from customer, management, IT and team to product, market, organization and own vision

‒ Always looking for the highest possible value for the customer. Make decisions again and again about the highest priority of that moment

‒ Able to manage different interests and getting people involved

‒ Helicopter view and able to keep oversight, but also able to dive into details if needed

‒ KPI driven and result-oriented, you have an intrinsic motivation to improve and realise results, and you know how to make progress transparent

‒ Senior

‒ Basic knowledge of financial products like FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Money Markets, Commodities, etc

‒ Able to discuss and challenge requirements with business

‒ Can communicate well in English, Dutch is preferable but not required

‒ Collaborate closely with the product owner and team to translate requirement

‒ Identify gaps and translate requirements

‒ Define requirements for Client Reporting developers

‒ Basic knowledge of SQL and Cloud (Azure)
