-Team: These two vacancies are for a completely new team led by the Head of Strategic Reporting. The team will consist of 5 to 10 workers. Strategic reporting is a sub-department of the new Chief of Staff (CoS) department.
-Work location is onsite in our head office Croeselaan 18 Utrecht.
-Working from home twice a week because the formation of a new team. At a later stage more home working days can be discussed.
- No Self Employed Employees.


The FEC Global Management Information and Business Intelligence (MI/BI) Oversight function is responsible for providing insights and ensuring alignment across the FEC domain regarding reporting and data definitions, MI requirements, MI change initiatives, and MI change prioritization. This ensures the correct and sustainable implementation of the identified KPIs and KRIs used for global strategic FEC risk reporting.

The strategic goal is to enable the FEC organization to focus on data-driven and client-centric reporting by optimizing the FEC MI infrastructure and ensuring the delivery of sound MI requirements across the FEC domain.

As an Expert in Strategic Reporting, your objectives relate to the delivery and enhancement of FEC strategic reports. To achieve this, you are responsible for creating Management Information (MI) for the FEC strategic reports by gathering relevant data from various sources within the FEC landscape. You are responsible for ensuring accuracy and reliability of the data collected and for analyzing trends and gathering insights. Through these responsibilities you play a key role in driving improvements based on insight in FEC performance and control.

Making a Difference
• Support the Strategic reporting team: drive and initiate FEC strategic reporting change initiatives related to data gathering and the creation and enhancement of relevant MI.
• Support Development and Maintain Reviews: Continuously improving the quality and effectiveness of FEC strategic reports through enhancing the MI used in the reporting.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to monitor and gather relevant data that results in MI for the FEC strategic reporting.

We are looking for an Expert in Strategic Reporting who challenges and supports the Senior Expert of Strategic Reporting. Knowledge and expertise in data management and reporting, along with an affinity for translating data into information, problem-solving, and organizational sensitivity, are essential for this role. You actively seek collaboration, gather information, and write relevant, storytelling documentation, making a difference for the team.

Additionally, it's important that you recognize yourself in the below:

Must Have:
• Education and work/experience: the minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Examples of relevant roles and experience are in business analysis, data management, strategic reporting and experience with working in projects/project management.
• Skills: Skills relevant to the position are
o Analytical skills: Ability to learn quickly to understand complex topics
o Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams.
o Communication: Good analytical and communication skills in English.
• Understanding: Banking and technology.
• Multi-Stakeholder Environment: Experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment and progressing actions with different stakeholders outside your team.
• Mindset: Experience with Agile and Azure (DevOps) and reporting, always seeking continuous improvement and always eager to learn. A critical mindset with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
• Tool Proficiency: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Azure DevOps and Power BI is a plus.

Nice to Have:
• Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of Client due diligence, money laundering, terrorism finance, and sanctions.
