-Team: This request ise for a completely new team led by the Head of Strategic Reporting. The team will consist of 5 to 10 workers. Strategic reporting is a sub-department of the new Chief of Staff (CoS) department.
-Work location is onsite in our head office Croeselaan 18 Utrecht.
-Working from home twice a week because the formation of a new team. At a later stage more home working days can be discussed.
-No Self Employed Employees.

The FEC Global Management Information and Business Intelligence (MI/BI) Oversight function is responsible for providing insights and ensuring alignment across the FEC domain regarding reporting and data definitions, MI requirements, MI change initiatives, and MI change prioritization. This ensures the correct and sustainable implementation of the identified KPIs and KRIs used for global strategic FEC risk reporting.

The strategic goal is to enable the FEC organization to focus on data-driven and client-centric reporting by optimizing the FEC MI infrastructure and ensuring the delivery of sound MI requirements across the FEC domain.

As a Senior Expert in FEC Strategic Reporting, your objectives include the delivery and enhancement of FEC strategic reports. You will be responsible for understanding, driving and challenging the FEC strategic reporting narrative versus realization towards FEC operational excellence, seen from a Risk Management and effective steering perspective. To that end you will challenge and align with senior stakeholders across the FEC landscape. You will drive and coordinate improvements based on insights into FEC performance and control.

Making a Difference
• Support the Strategic reporting team: initiate, coordinate, and drive FEC strategic reporting change initiatives.
• Support Development and Maintain Reviews: Continuously review FEC strategic reporting initiatives based on new insights, trends, and opportunities against plan.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand and drive the strategic FEC narrative and to challenge stakeholders on its realization.

We are looking for a Senior Expert in Strategic Reporting as part of the Strategic Reporting team. This role involves collaborating various business lines and other stakeholders within the FEC landscape in a large, dynamic environment.

Must Have:
• Education and work/experience: WO (university) with 7-10 years of experience. Relevant roles and experience include:
o Project Experience Experienced in managing dynamic project initiatives within Banking and Technology, preferably in Strategic reporting and/or Risk Management within the FEC organization.
• Understanding: Banking and technology and Risk Management.
• Multi-Stakeholder Environment: Experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment and progressing actions with different stakeholders outside your team.
• Communication skills: Experience in writing senior management reports and demonstrated storytelling skills. Excellent analytical and communication skills in English.
• Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Mindset: Experience with Agile and Azure (DevOps) and reporting, always seeking continuous improvement and always eager to learn. A critical mindset with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
• Tool Proficiency: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI is a plus

Nice to have
• Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of Client due diligence, money laundering, terrorism finance, and sanctions.
