You and your job
The work you do will impact your team, your internal and external stakeholders, and ultimately the client servicing process, therefore the bank’s core business.

You are part of the External Reporting Tribe, where you implement and execute data management standards for ESG regulatory reporting in accordance with applicable practical guidance to ensure compliance with BCBS239.

This role involves understanding data characteristics, defining data, and ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.

You work in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to support data lineage, quality, and processes. You help the Product Owner set timely and right priorities.

Main Responsibilities
• Data Exchange:
o Create and maintain data delivery agreements relevant to the data requirements.
o Ensure the agreements are approved and signed off by the related tribe leads.
o Register the details with a reference to the approved agreement.

• Data Requirements and Definitions:
o Define all consumer requirements for the specific regulatory report and link them to the related reporting asset in Collibra.
o Create physical and logical data dictionaries, and link them together.
o Create and maintain up-to-date data definitions of the attributes in physical data dictionaries.
o Define critical consumer requirements and their data quality rules, together with the thresholds.

• Reference Data Management:
o Identify the reference data scope locally and globally.
o Create reference data tables in TIBCO EBX system and implement reference data management.

• Data Lineage:
o Support technical onboarding of the system in the data chain in Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC).
o Execute and test data lineage.

• Data Quality Implementation & Monitoring:
o Support implementation of the DQ rules and test them.
o Monitor the DQ scores in related dashboards and analyse the ones under the threshold.

• Issue Management:
o Register data quality and availability issues in Collibra.
o Participate in intake sessions and support issue coordinators in finding the root cause, so the correct issue owner can be assigned.

• Processes & Controls:
o Create the data (aggregation) flow, and plot the risks and the controls on the systems in the data chain within External Reporting Tribe.
o Identify poor controls and implement additional ones to mitigate the risks.


Practical Examples
• For the implementation of new IT systems, you are the first point of contact to identify the requirements for data management setup.
• You ensure the change calendar includes the necessary data management activities required by BCBS239 regulations..
• You understand data management principals, have hands-on experience on the tasks and dependencies.
• You have a good understanding of regulatory reports and their concepts.
• You interact with your stakeholders to continuously improve the data management processes.

You and your talent
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO or WO);
• At least 5 years of relevant data management experience in financial industries;
• At least 5 years of experience implementing change in complex data chains and IT landscapes;
• Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders in the process;
• Proactive in identifying and working on opportunities to improve our processes;
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
