Position description:

In this position you will support the Quality & Food Safety team in maintaining and improving quality standards within an international food trade environment. You will be involved in daily QA operations, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives across the EU. The role requires close collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, traders and QFS teams around the world to ensure products and processes meet internal and external quality standards. In this position you will report to the Quality Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Support daily Quality Assurance and Food Safety activities at trading offices;
• Monitor compliance with HACCP, GMP, BRC, IFS and FSSC22000 standards;
• Conduct quality checks, inspections and documentation reviews;
• Support internal audits and assist during external audits and customer visits;
• Investigate non-conformities and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA);
• Maintain and update quality documentation, procedures and work instructions;
• Collaborate with Operations and Production to improve quality processes and standards;
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety and quality compliance;
• Handle ad hoc quality-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills and experience:

• HBO Bachelor’s level of thinking, preferably in Food Technology, Food Science, Quality Management or similar;
• Approximately 2–4 years of experience within a Quality/QA role in food manufacturing or production;
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards such as BRC, IFS or FSSC22000;
• Experience within an international environment is an advantage;
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail;
• Good command of English (spoken and written); Spanish is an advantage;
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented mindset;
• Curious, eager to learn and able to work independently as well as in a team;
