Junior IT Delivery Manager
for Solution Delivery Customer Support & Sales

Introduction

Are you a proactive and hands-on IT professional? We are seeking a Junior Delivery Manager to support and strengthen our IT operational processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working across teams, and is passionate about driving service quality and operational excellence.

Within the IT organization Solution Delivery Operations supports and delivers new functionality to the operational sectors of ASML to advance our business processes to the next level of efficiency we need. In this role you play an important role in managing the service delivery of our strategic partners to the existing solutions that run in our IT production environment. You work closely with our senior Delivery Manager and the ART teams within the department.

Role and responsibilities            

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our IT team, supporting and improving operational processes. You’ll collaborate with business teams, service coordinators, and managers to ensure smooth operations and business continuity of the IT service delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support and follow up on ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management;

  • Safeguard the quality and consistency of operational processes;

  • Analyze incident trends and identify opportunities for process improvements;

  • Participate in key-user meetings, project alignment sessions, and sprint reviews;

  • Collaborate with Service Coordinators and Service Managers to ensure smooth operations and business continuity;

  • Take ownership of action items and drive them to successful completion;

  • Perform quality checks for releases and service transitions;

  • Work closely with IT suppliers and internal teams to implement service improvements.

Education and experience

Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g. information technology, computer science, or other), with some work experience in IT applications development, or relevant masters degree.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a complex IT environment;

  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles (ITIL certification is a plus);

  • Experience in a complex, international IT environment is advantageous;

  • Knowledge of/experience with software development.

Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;

  • Pro-active attitude, go-getter personality who likes to work hands-on;

  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English

  • Stakeholder management skills.

Other Information

In this role you will report into one of the departments IT Line Managers for you Development and Performance, though your main stakeholder will be the senior IT Delivery manager who is accountable for the delivery of the IT service.
