Purpose
As Team Lead Research Desk / Data Modeler, you are responsible for leading the Research Desk team in implementing research models and
reports that drive business insights and decisionmaking. In addition to overseeing the creation of accurate, scalable, and actionable analytics, you
will serve as a coach, mentoring team members to enhance their technical skills, analytical capabilities, and professional growth.
You will ensure effective collaboration between business and IT stakeholders, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and crossfunctional
alignment.
Position in the IT Data & Analytics team.
Knowledge, education, skills and Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in data modelling and analytics, preferably in a research-driven environment.
- Expertise in dimensional and relational data modelling, including tools like SQLDBM or similar, is required.
- Strong understanding of building and optimizing data pipelines and workflows is required.
- Experience with designing and implementing research models and reports is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Python, Snowflake, DBT, SQL, ETL processes, and cloud data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure) is required.
- Strong leadership, task delegation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with business, technical stakeholders and management.
