Do you want to be part of the clean energy transition and make a real impact through data? As a Data Engineer at Vattenfall, you’ll be part of an agile SCRUM team working with advanced analytics tools across various systems to solve complex issues, collaborating closely with Vattenfall Wind stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
Your focus will be designing, building, and maintaining data products using the Microsoft Azure technology stack, with Power BI as the front-end. You have a strong drive to ask questions, are willing to learn new tools and continuously improve your soft and hard skills.
What you bring:
● Experience with analytics & BI tools, especially within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (e.g. Synapse, SQL pools, SQL Database, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks, Data Factory, Power BI);
● Technical proficiency in product development using languages such as Python, SQL);
● Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, version control tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, ARM, GIT), ETL/ELT processes and APIs;
● Understanding of Data Warehousing and Data modelling principles;
● Solid grasp of Power BI dashboard development and data visualisation best practices;
● Experience working in agile development teams;
● Strong communication skills in written and spoken English;
● Ability to analyse and translate business requirements into IT specifications, including proactively providing advice to IT developers & to Business stakeholders;
● Ideally familiarity of already have a good understanding of Energy Industry and Wind in particular.
