About the Role
As a Cloud Technical Engineer, you support customers in removing technical barriers during the tenant landing phase and beyond within the T-Systems Public Cloud environment. You accelerate adoption by designing and building hands-on solutions, enabling integrations, and demonstrating platform capabilities in real customer environments.

This role requires a strong foundation in cloud technologies combined with a deep understanding of the TCP/IP stack, as networking is a core component of the platform and comparable in complexity to hyperscalers such as AWS.
Key Responsibilities
•    Translate customer requirements into scalable cloud solutions within T-Systems Public Cloud
•    Design and build hands-on demos, prototypes, and proofs of concept (POCs)
•    Guide customers through tenant onboarding and landing zone setup
•    Identify technical, architectural, and organizational risks early and mitigate them
•    Support integrations between cloud environments and existing customer infrastructures (on-premise and hybrid)
•    Collaborate closely with sales and solution teams while maintaining a strong technical focus
•    Accelerate customer adoption by removing implementation blockers
•    Contribute across the full lifecycle: discovery, design, implementation, and optimization

Required Skills & Experience
•    Strong understanding of cloud architecture and the full cloud stack (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security)
•    Experience with cloud platforms comparable to AWS, Azure, or GCP
•    Deep understanding of the TCP/IP stack (core requirement)
•    Strong networking knowledge (routing, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, connectivity patterns)
•    Hands-on experience with APIs, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, scripting)
•    Experience building demos, POCs, and rapid prototypes
•    Experience integrating cloud platforms into enterprise IT environments
•    Solid understanding of security, compliance, and governance

Wij dekken deze risico’s voor onze opdrachtgevers af middels een geblokkeerde rekening, de G-rekening.
Dit is een rekening waarop een gedeelte van het factuurbedrag wordt gestort en waarvan u de loonheffingen en BTW kunt betalen aan de Belastingdienst.
Het af te storten % hangt ervan af of u een SNA-certificering (NEN-4400-1 of NEN-4400-2) heeft of niet en of uw bedrijf in Nederland of daarbuiten is gevestigd. De G-rekening kunt u aanvragen bij de Belastingdienst.
Indien u geen G-rekening kunt krijgen (en u kunt hier bewijs van de Belastingdienst van overleggen) dan heeft u ook de mogelijkheid elk kwartaal een accountantsverklaring (assurance report inzake inlening personeel) aan te leveren.
Hierin zal een gecertificeerd accountant (AA of RA) een verklaring afgeven over de juistheid, volledigheid en tijdigheid van de afdrachten. Let wel, de kosten voor deze verklaring komen voor uw eigen rekening.
