For one of our clients, we are looking for a Compliance Specialist.
As a team you are responsible for first and second line of defense services, focusing on risk management, physical and cyber security, compliance, business continuity, crisis management and internal controls. The department's efforts ensure the organization's resilience to various threats and guarantee adherence to relevant regulations.
As a Compliance Specialist, you will significantly contribute to the organization's risk management by advising on compliance issues, influencing policy and strategy development, and ensuring legal and ethical integrity.
Scope:
- Compliance monitoring: Monitor laws and regulations.
- Policy development: Policy support and integrity audits.
- Training and awareness: Facilitate training and awareness.
- Investigation and Reporting: Conduct investigations and reports and prepare ad hoc reports of compliance posture.
- Compliance Management: Support the development and implementation of the annual compliance plan.
- Liaison and Coordination: Work closely with various stakeholders.
- Data Breach Management: Monitor and liaise with relevant parties regarding personal data breaches and handling of data subject rights.
Achievements and Risks:
- Regulatory Compliance: Keeping up-to-date with constantly evolving compliance regulations.
- Internal Policy Alignment: Ensuring organizational policies are effectively aligned with legal requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicating and enforcing compliance standards across all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s educational level and work experience.
- Five years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- In possession of Compliance certifications such as CCP, EMOC/ECIM or CCO.
- Risk management or Governance certifications is a plus.
- Knowledge of risk management, control design, implementation and evaluation.
What we offer:
- Contract untill the end of the year.
- 32 tot 40 hours.
- Hybrid working with a location in Zuid-Holland.
- Start august 2024.
