ou play a pivotal role in the Acquisition and Divestment IT Infrastructure team. When Shell acquires a company, our team facilitates the onboarding into Shell IT. For divestments we make sure the divested parts can keep running without the Shell IT infrastructure and even more important, make sure the remaining Shell parts keep running and are not affected by the carveout of the divested infrastructure.

Given the critical timelines set by the deal teams that run the acquisition and divestments, you are all round and have great analytic skills. Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Azure and Apple mobile devices are our core technologies, as such you bring knowledge of Azure hosting and networking, O365, Firewall configurations, Application scripting and migrations, PC re-imaging, IPad MDM, Intune application distribution. For the divestments and acquisitions, you will liaising with support teams, vendors, projects teams, business and stakeholders across the globe.

You are responsible for safeguarding the smooth operation of the “SwapKit” modules, which form the foundational platforms divested companies depends on in the early stage, after the divestment.

We are looking for IT infrastructure professionals with proficiency across the following key dimensions:
• In-depth technology skills, in domains of; Active Directory, Azure Cloud, SaaS, IaaS, Application Hosting & Distribution, Windows Server Administration, End User Compute services (client PCs, mobility devices, Microsoft productivity and collaboration applications);
• Professional skills, excellent communication and resilience;

You will be expected to:
• Integrate Azure back-office & end user compute IT infrastructure design and delivery with our key partners, including but not limited to IT operations in both divested organisation and global Shell IT, deal team and peer IT divestment project workstreams (ERP, Applications, Information Management etc.)
• Be a Subject Matter Expert for Azure Back-office and End User Compute IT infrastructure, to include Azure subscription management, domain controllers, (Entra) Active Directory, SMTP, Application and Database hosting in Azure, Windows Client image development, Client software packaging and distribution, client productivity and collaboration services (such as MS O365 E5 suite, MS Team Rooms). Main scope of work is to build and test targets for above services, maintain these while in project control and execute migration, transition and decommissioning activities in support of deal completion;
• Deploy Office/Microsoft 365 Environments
• Deploy Azure AD Environments
• Deploy advanced Microsoft 365 Services including Enterprise and Mobility
• Architect Office/Microsoft 365 Service Environments
• Routine maintenance of On-Premises and Azure Active Directory environments including Group Policies
• Routine network maintenance in various Microsoft environments
• Deployment of Infrastructure improvements on Client environments
• Assist in maintaining and deploying other Client applications and environments.
• Leading initiatives for researching and deploying new applications & infrastructure services.
• Provide guidance and leadership as a Senior staff member of the team to local Support teams.
• Assist in managing Support Services and related deliverables.
• Working with End-Users and Vendors to support applications and environments.
• Meeting regularly with application teams and attend application meetings.
• Supporting Client initiatives remotely and on-premise.
• Develop and execute IPAD migration processes.
• Build an Intune MDM environment for device management and Application distribution.
• Application scripting and deployment in PowerShell.
• Build Windows 11 Image for newly deployed PCs
• Contribute to definition and application of best practices and actively drive continuous improvements.

Which project(s) exactly the successful candidate will be delivering is to be confirmed, depending on the order of new deal opportunities being initiated and assessing allocation of resources across a wider team.
Skills & Requirements:

Mandatory:
• Ten years or more IT administration & support experience.
• Five years or more of advanced Office 365 experience.
• Operate effectively without supervision.
• All round IT knowledge, understanding of IT design principles, database management, IT infrastructure and (application) security.
• Experience with Apple MDM solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, sometimes after hours/weekend work.
• Must demonstrate a pro-active attitude to problem solving and have excellent analytical & communication capabilities.
• Should be able to identify common technical and operational problems, evaluate potential solutions and provide relevant advice.
• Good stakeholder management skills and ability to work in complex relationship between Shell, business, suppliers and infrastructure partners.
• Able to work in a highly motivated, fast-paced, critical support role.
• Excellent decision making and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines with Projects and Assignments.

Preferred:
• Solid understanding of Cloud Native & traditional hosting technologies, including physical & virtual servers (Win & Linux), cloud (Azure).
• Familiar with one or more Microsoft solutions, like Azure, PowerShell, SQL server, IIS, ASP.NET C# and Active Directory.
• Experience with system administration, defining technical policies, installing and upgrading servers and database administration.
• Ability to deal with conflict and ambiguity effectively.

Special considerations:
• Some regional travel maybe required.
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule for 4-6 weeks during migration activities.
