You work on complex financing applications in the retail origination area at Rabobank, one of the largest IT employers in the Netherlands. Rabobank serves 7.1 million clients globally and owns more than 40% of the corporate lending market in the Netherlands.
In the retail origination area within the Tribe Business Lending, we are working on an innovative proposition which needs to be embedded in the Rabobank landscape and Way of Working this year.

Responsibilities
Set up and implement solid test strategy
Have complete ownership of the test architecture
Propose future proof solutions to problems in a rapidly changing and complex environment
Support teams both hands-on and by coaching/mentoring
Organize and lead Test Chapter by presenting yourself or motivating others to present interesting quality topics
Align with other areas in Quality Engineering Guild
Promote autonomy within testing

Requirements
Communication, critical thinking, taking responsibility and taking a stand are essential skills for the role of Quality Chapter Lead. In addition, it is important that you recognize yourself in the checklist below:

8+ years of experience in test automation
Self-organized
Able to apply different test levels based on outcome of product risk analysis and not use end-to-end tests for everything
Experience setting up stubs for testing using tools like Wiremock
CI/CD experience with tools like Azure DevOps
Extensive experience with tools like Selenium/Playwright, Cucumber, RestAssured
Solid experience in programming languages like Java, Javascript
Experience in contract-based testing with Pactflow
Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk
Experience testing microservices and messaging systems like Kafka
Good knowledge of Git
Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
Experience with collaborating in a distributed team
Strong understanding and experience in approaches like TDD, BDD (process and not only Gherkin or Cucumber)
Must be able to collaborate, brainstorm and steer ideas and strategies with all squads in the area as well as with other stakeholders
Willingness and capability to teach and share knowledge
Fluent English is a must, Dutch speaking is a preference

Nice to have:
ISTQB or TMap certification
