As a Product Owner External Fraud, you help our customers and Rabobank against payments fraud. Do you want to make the difference as a Product Owner / Project Manager External Fraud?

Taking care, together with your squad, of systems that monitor and protect 24/7 our payments streams and channels? You will be responsible for maintaining and developing one of our models and systems, in close cooperation with the whole fraud chain. You and your role As a Product Owner, you directly influence the design of our new Area Global External Fraud within the Tribe KYC Tech. You participate in new strategic initiatives to ensure a future proof fraud chain.
You translate requirements into feasible and relevant solutions for your stakeholders. Your stakeholders are for instance users within KYC Operations and FEC (Financial Economic Crime), Architecture, IT and the other Product Owners within your Area.

As a Product Owner, you develop a product vision, you challenge your development team and stakeholders and you give direction towards further development of your product. You pro-actively steer to ensure progress and make impact, based on your squad KPI’s and the area KPI’s. You keep the 24/7 accessibility of the systems in mind and have the flexibility to act upon actual trends and developments to protect our customers and Rabobank against fraud.

You closely work together with your squad as a team-player and you manage and prioritize your backlog to ensure solutions with the highest value are delivered first.
Finally, together with the other Product Owners, you support the Area lead with:
-Developing the mission, vision, roadmap and KPI’s for the Area
-Aligning the priorities of the Area and making dependencies clear
-Speeding-up the agile way of working (Simplify@Scale) and heartbeat

You see opportunities to improve the existing functionality and you make sure you are advised well by your team and stakeholders. • You prioritize your backlog and transparently communicate about your choices to your team and stakeholders to create a common understanding. You create focus for your team and make sure the squad KPI’s are achieved. You represent the internal customer towards your team. You handle incidents with vigor and create trust within your team. You have the knowledge about the systems and models to be able to prioritize well, without micro-managing or taking over the role of your team members, who build and maintain the functionality.
• You clearly communicate with your stakeholders what they can expect from you and your team. You are comfortable with saying “no”. You are responsible for the roadmap for the upcoming quarters and have an eye for the ambitions of your squad. You pro-actively communicate about which resources your need.

You and your talent
Customer centricity, change management, process management, affinity with IT and making impact or essential skills for the role of Product Owner External Fraud. In addition you are or have:
•A Bachelor or Master degree;
•Experience in a Product Owner role or a similar role
•Experience with (fraud) model development and model management processes and affinity with data science / advanced analytics
•A getting things done mentality, also under pressure
•Experience with IT management and development processes, including Agile/Scrum
•Managerial qualities
•Demonstrable knowledge and experience with customer processes and systems within a regulatory environment
•Good at process-based thinking and simplifying things
•Excellent stakeholder management skills, also with senior stakeholders and you are good in building valuable relationships
•Driven to keep your knowledge up to date with new developments in the industry
