You are an energetic Cloud DevOps Engineer with a passion for IT and a positive can-do mindset who will help to bring our Center of Excellence for RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and more specifically the Platform team, to the next level. You are a candidate who can start early and who would prefer Hybrid working.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do and with a growing number of robots / robotized processes (also: Digital Workers) implemented we are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer who will help our team / department reach the next level of service of Robotics (or hyper/intelligent automation). You are a team player working as a core member of a multidisciplinary and cross-functional team whose primary driver is to facilitate an IT-platform to our internal customers (business & IT) the best way possible.
You are the person who will help with our continuous innovation / optimization ambition and goals and automated everything we do. Close collaboration within and across the Centre of Excellence and with the consumer, taking ownership and initiative is self-evident for you.

As a Cloud DevOps engineer within IT Systems and our Center of Excellence for RPA:
• You have an up-to-date vision regarding IT expertise, and you also have functional knowledge of the Business domains.
• You can autonomously pick priority items from the team’s backlog, analyse, and work them out.
• You consult with the team about what is needed to fulfil the functional and non-functional requirements of the product or service to be developed.
• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
• Executing tests on software usability from Business Perspective.
• Analysing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
• Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried.
• Interacting with business to understand product requirements.
• Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
• You implement all mandatory security standards to ensure IT risk is and remain under control.
• You perform Life Cycle Management for IT products under management.
• You ensure monitoring, logging, and alerting is in place to be able to operate the application and the service without interruptions.
• You can present and neatly document your work to Team members.
• You contribute to incident resolution, and you solve root causes. And will do all related work regarding Incident, Change, Problem and Config processes.
• You apply continuous delivery practices:
• Manage all resources in version-controlled repositories (code, scripts, configurations, artefacts, static resources).
• Refactor and reuse existing code/modules/functionality.
• Build, enhance, and maintain tooling and scripts to automate repetitive or error prone tasks.

We are looking for a candidate with:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Hands on experience and knowledge of databases / SQL
• Hands on experience and knowledge of Linux and Windows based platforms / infrastructure
• Excellent Knowledge about Azure Cloud
• Hands on experience and knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with Terraform, Helm and Argo
• Proven knowledge of Continuous Delivery (with automated pipelines)
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility in learning new development technologies (for example Artificial Intelligence)
• A result-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive personality
• Experience in working in Agile/SCRUM teams in a complex environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Dutch/English)
• Open mind set to explore modern technologies to solve business problems.
• Dedicated team player skills, empowering and challenging team in a constructive way.

You are the person who can work and excel in a DevOps environment, in which you both help engineering work on the platform, but also work on troubleshooting issues, managing daily operations (Incident, Problem and Change management), and working in an Agile (Scrum) environment to deliver the best service possible. Since we work closely with business teams, you are expected to dive into the techniques mentioned above and work closely with other (Business) teams.
