Description Vacancy : Profile: Senior QA Engineer – Python & Databricks

You & your role

We are currently seeking a Senior QA Engineer to support our model implementation teams in building a robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation framework. You will work with three QA engineers across two squads that are implementing our new CDD Risk Detection Solution, and you will be responsible for setting up the test framework for this solution.

The FEC CDD RNL Detection department plays a critical role in Rabobank’s financial crime prevention strategy. Our mission is to identify customer profiles and behaviours that may indicate money laundering or terrorist financing. To support this, Rabobank operates advanced detection platforms that continuously assess customer risk, enabling timely identification and escalation of suspicious activity.


Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a test automation framework from scratch using Python and Databricks
Develop data-driven testing strategy tailored to our business rule model
Create re-usable components to ensure maintainability and scalability
Mentor and guide two QA engineers across two squads

Proven hands-on experience with:
Python for test automation
Databricks in a testing context
Building test frameworks from the ground up
Experience in coaching or mentoring QA professionals

Strong understanding of:
Functional testing principles (as this scenario validation and not data transformation)
Business rule validation
Reusability and modular test design
