You and your role


As the business architect Credit Core CIM you make impact in designing the structural yet pragmatic architecture to support the credit risk cycle for Rabobank Group. This architecture aligns to Rabobank architecture principles and is therefore decoupled, simple and balances business line applications and group wide solutions.



The area where you will be working in consists of several teams focusing on group wide solutions to process, monitor and distribute credit risk data of Rabobank Group. You act in the heart of credit risk data and related processes. In your role you will be looking for the best fit for purpose solutions, take the lead in providing enhanced data driven and forward looking insights while also having compliancy by design on top of mind. You will do so in close cooperation with teams across Rabobank Group implying that you will interact with a large stakeholder field ranging from our Wholesale, Rural, Retail NL business lines as well as with our subsidiaries e.g. DLL, Vista and Obvion for which we service group wide solutions.



Key responsibilities


• Together with the Area Lead and Tech Lead you are managing and running the area CIM consisting of multiple Agile teams. For this area you have the role of Area Architect.


• Developing the architecture and roadmap for the area CIM.


• Mentoring and coaching solution architects within the functional line of your area.


• Be up to date with technical developments, specifically on the topic of data and cloud solutions


• Explain and embed enterprise architectural standards in the architecture for your area


• Contribute to the growth of the architectural chapter of the tribe

The architecture team Risk & Finance shapes the architecture for CLR and CFO. The Tribe Credit Core is one of the 8 Tribes that will be supported by business architects from Architecture Risk & Finance.


The architects working for the tribe Credit Core will work together in a functional team guided by the Tribe Architect Credit Core and are hierarchically reporting to the Tribe Architect of Credit Core. The Credit Core architecture team is heavily relying on the knowledge and capacity of a group of solution architects that act as part of the virtual team. In your role as Area Architect you will coach and guide approximately 2 of these solution architects.



You and your talent


• 3-7 years architectural experience in a large and complex (data) environment


• Master’s degree in a relevant field


• Complex problem solving


• Intimate knowledge of data architecture concept such as data lakes and data sharing patterns


• Known with credit risk concepts such as Obligor & Trigger Framework


• Judgement and decision-making


• Story telling – strong communicator
