Description Vacancy : Solution Architect Enterprise Repository

You & your role

Within our team, we are establishing an Enterprise Repository that connects information from across the bank and transforms it into actionable insights. The repository brings together information about business processes, applications, technology assets, controls, risks, assessments, architecture, and configuration management, creating visibility into the relationships and dependencies that drive the bank.

As a Solution Architect, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for shaping, selecting, implementing, and evolving this capability. Together with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Enterprise & Business Architects, Tech Leads and DevOps Engineers Squads, you will translate business and regulatory requirements into practical architectural solutions.

The Enterprise Repository is more than a platform for storing information. It is a strategic capability that enables stakeholders to understand dependencies, assess the impact of change, support regulatory compliance, and evaluate transformation scenarios. By connecting information from different parts of the bank, the repository helps decision-makers understand the consequences of change before investments or implementation decisions are made.

Your contribution will focus on architecture, information modelling, integration, governance, and stakeholder alignment. You will help ensure that information is structured, connected, and maintained in a way that provides meaningful insights and supports transformation initiatives, regulatory change, operational improvements, and strategic decision-making.

Examples of activities
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into architectural designs.
• Contribute to repository selection activities, including requirements definition, vendor evaluations, and proof-of-concepts.
• Define information models, metadata structures, relationships, and governance principles.
• Help design capabilities for impact analysis, dependency management, and scenario planning.
• Contribute to architecture roadmaps, standards, and implementation approaches.
• Support teams in adopting repository standards and architectural principles.

Architectural Responsibilities
• Develop Project Start Architectures (PSAs) and solution outlines to provide clear architectural direction for projects and transformation initiatives.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that align with organizational objectives and technology standards.
• Define and contribute to domain roadmaps, architecture principles, and standards to support a consistent and future-proof technology landscape.
• Ensure compliance, security, risk, and audit requirements are addressed through sound architectural governance and design decisions.
• Provide architectural guidance and governance throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring solutions adhere to agreed standards and target architectures.
• Mentor and coach delivery teams in implementing architectural designs, supporting successful adoption and continuous improvement.

Repository Selection & Development
• Contribute to the selection and implementation of Enterprise Repository capabilities.
• Collaborate on defining business, functional, technical, and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in market assessments, proof-of-concepts, and solution evaluations.
• Support implementation, migration, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help establish governance and operational processes that support sustainable adoption.

Impact Analysis & Scenario Planning
• Enable visibility into relationships between processes, applications, assets, controls, risks, and assessments.
• Support capabilities for impact assessments and dependency analysis.
• Help develop scenario modelling and "what-if" analysis capabilities.
• Provide architectural guidance that enables better decision-making for transformation, risk, and regulatory initiatives.
• Help identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, and improve the enterprise landscape.

Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with stakeholders across business and technology domains.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Area Lead, Tech Lead, and fellow architects to balance business value, technical feasibility, and operational needs.
• Communicate architectural principles, designs, and roadmaps to stakeholders.
• Help drive adoption, alignment, and continuous improvement across teams.

Competence
• Strong documentation skills and a structured, analytical mindset.
• Ability to connect the big-picture vision to concrete, actionable steps and vice versa.
• Collaborative, energetic, and comfortable guiding teams in a complex, multi stakeholder environment.
• Fluent communication skills in English and confidence to provide clear direction when needed.
