Context en richting

Our Agentic Centre of Excellence is aimed at centralizing the knowledge and delivery of Agentic use cases across the bank. Currently we are setting up this COE and therefore a lot of processes and way of working need to be set up. These focus around the 3 groups of tasks listed below:

Agentic use case delivery
Testing diverse service providers to determine the suitable ones for our needs
Collect learnings from use cases, and make them easily accessible
Set up Agentic Way of Working / Playbook (how the CoE works, and interacts with future use cases, standardizing templates for delivery of use cases etc.)
Set up outreach channels (for the CoE to become an active thought leader in agentic ai)

Specifieke vaardigheden
We are looking for professionals with technical background who combine technical excellence with adaptability, collaboration and a strong sense of ownership. You are a builder with hands on experience developing agentic AI systems and AI-powered applications. You have full-stack platform development experience, and know how to turn proofs-of-concepts into deployed production grade solutions, and you have enough data science fluency to quantitatively assess whether an agent actually performs well, or just appears to.

You communicate clearly and with precision, and can translate between engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders. You are pragmatic and assertive when working under institutional constraints. Where resources are limited, and approval chains are long, you find ways to make things work without cutting corners that matter. When priorities shift, you reorient quickly and keep moving.

You collaborate effectively with other teams to include Rabobank's requirements on data safety and data protection into a larger Agentic AI solution that meets all regulatory requirements and best practices. Your work will directly influence how millions of customers experience AI-driven Banking.

Positionering rol binnen de afdeling

The person in this role would work primarily independently on the deliverables listed earlier and report the squad lead on the results. For deliverable 1 alignment with others on the processes and direction would be needed but the professional in this role would be in the lead for determining the directions independently.

For deliverable 2 the person would be in the lead of determining the methodology and responsible for the results of the experiment – if needed some of the tasks might be delegated to someone in the team if there would be insufficient capacity.

The person would be able to determine the approach and way of working for each of the deliverables and report to the squad lead for the results. It is not possible to use a personal laptop for security reasons.

The assignment needs to be delivered by a ZZP’er as this requires:

A combination of skills that cover the engineering and data science applied knowledge with management skills in setting out the direction and way of working, which is not the usual combination of skills.
The deliverables are possible to work (primarily) independently (in alignment and with assistance of others) but do not require significant dependency on others.
