Reason for request
Due to current capacity challenges within the team, this request has been initiated. One external resource is leaving the team and another team member is temporarily absent due to private circumstances. As a result, workload and pressure within the team have increased significantly.

Hours per week
36 hours per week (more hours are not possible).

You and your job
As a Medior/Senior Data Analyst, you will be part of a team that develops and maintains future-proof, compliant, and structured information solutions and dashboards for Transaction Monitoring. Together, you work towards a single source of truth by creating BI products that provide cohesive, efficient, and reliable information to the business, contributing to the prevention of Financial Economic Crime.

You operate in a fast-changing and complex environment driven by regulatory requirements, innovation, and compliance demands. In this role, we expect you to bring your seniority to guide and support team members in building high-quality data solutions that meet business needs and align with the Data & Insights vision within the FEC domain.

You actively share your knowledge and expertise with the team, particularly in stakeholder management, gathering and defining requirements, anticipating business needs, and proactively identifying potential risks. Together, you deliver valuable data solutions using the Scrum framework.


Your impact
In this role, you combine technical expertise with stakeholder management and a clear vision on data. You will:

Develop future-proof dashboards and data solutions based on business needs
Perform explorative data analysis to generate valuable insights
Improve and simplify existing dashboards to increase efficiency
Bring an overarching vision on data products and BI solutions
Translate business questions into actionable and sustainable solutions

Practical examples
Build future-proof data solutions (e.g. dashboards) and perform explorative analysis based on business needs and technical requirements
Maintain, simplify, and enhance existing dashboards to increase efficiency and usability
Bring an overarching vision on data products, ensuring the delivery of valuable and sustainable BI solutions

Job responsibilities
Translate business needs into clear development requirements and deliver BI solutions
Ensure the maintenance and continuous development of squad data products into future-proof and compliant solutions
Guide and influence team members towards the Area vision and actively share your expertise
Develop and maintain data and BI products within the squad
Ensure quality, compliance, and future readiness of data solutions
Actively engage with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements

You will work in a multidisciplinary scrum team within the FEC domain. Together, you deliver valuable data solutions in an environment that promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Your promise to us
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. in Data, IT, or a related field)
Proven experience with Power BI, DAX, and SQL
Experience with Databricks, Azure Repositories, and Git is a plus
Experience with requirements gathering and requirements analysis
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong analytical and explorative mindset with the ability to quickly understand complex topics
Result-oriented, proactive, and a true “can-do” mentality
Creative thinker who challenges the status quo and brings new ideas
Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
Experience level:

Medior: minimum 3 years of relevant experience, scale 8
Senior: minimum 5 years of relevant experience, scale 9
